Psychology

Man, how complicated can life get? I mean, one certain situation, and there's like a million ways of reacting! There is only one thing in this world that can somewhat explain why we choose to act the way we do, and that is Psychology [There may be more, I might be uninformed, you know]. And still Psychology is one of the most undervalued, undermined subjects in the world. Or well, at least here in India: People think of hardly anything other than engineering. The sole reason for me having an interest for Psychology is the very fact that it can explain why I might choose to cry over something I have lost, whereas another person isn't as remotely as affected as I am, even though the thing is of equal importance to both. And I also read about this hormone called PEA, which is secreted by the hypothalamus when we feel we are infatuated with somebody. It lasts long enough for silly infatuations, but not long enough to sustain marriages, and that is the reason why lots of married couples get divorced under two years. That's only the basic stuff, and there's tons to it that I don't know. I would really like to study Psychology someday, but first I'll have to become an engineer, then I'll have to get a job, and then I'll have to have enough free time to study. Nah, that ain't gonna happen, might as well read all I can now. (X_x)
